How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started out life in college as a music major, but realized music wasn't where my talents lied. I switched to accounting, became a CPA, passing the CPA exam on first try and ranking in the top 4% of the nation that year. Went on to study Tax Law in graduate school at DePaul University in Chicago. Worked for two of the "Big 4" public accounting firms, and then went to law school. Began practicing law in 1985.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My combination of business knowledge and understanding of the successful entrepreneur's needs and desires combined with my accounting, financial, and legal education and experience make me a superior lawyer for business owners and higher wealth individuals.
